The Growing of the Army

Zyrok had spent the two days sitting and waiting, as well getting acquanted(sp?) with his new Arrancar. Both the new Arrancar were exceptional beings. Remarkable abilities too. He saw their Resureccion forms and was thoroughly pleased. Definetely brethern of Anarak--seeing as how all three had insect-like Resureccion forms. He forged out some ideas, and was sending The Sand King to Earth.

Atlast, the Arrancar grew and broke free. They came pouring out, 200 in total. All, of which showed very similar characteristics and no real difference in each other. He had come to realize this attracted quite some Menos. Their forms were shrunken down and they grew more powerful. Yes, yes...this was all coming according to plan. Though he did not like the fact they all looked like replica of one another and knowing Tabris' enjoyment for life...well, Zyrok could not dispose of them. He walked up to one of the Arrancar, and looked him up and down. There were female and male Arrancar.

"What is your name?" He asked.

To which, all of the Arrancar looked at Zyrok and gave a quick, low bow. In unison, they all murmered a line meant for a group such as this."We, are Legion." They all spoke out. Each clutching a Zanpakutou in their hands.

Zyrok smiled. Maybe there was a purpose for them, afterall.

[Phoenix Tempest]

Amaya danced through the forest, singing loudly and slightly off-key as she twirled, swinging her Zanpakutou about as she slashed randomly at tree trunks. A tiny white puff-ball with a white hollow mask outlined in black darted after her, its tiny white bunny ears flapping about as it fluttered on black bat wings around Amaya's head. It twittered in a high-pitched humming sound, seeming to wail at the flailing metal skewer. The woman stopped, laughing and turning to watch the little puff-ball.

"Taji-chan, who would want to keep books on a shelf? You're so silly!" She turned and kept walking, resting the blade against her shoulder and skipping down the narrow path, completely unaffected by the Menos Forest, unlike her little Hollow friend, who stuck out tiny little legs and landed on the Espada's shoulder, cowering beneath the disarray of shoulder-length blue-black hair.

"Ne, Taji-chan, you're such a coward." She grinned widely, recognizing her favorite person's hangout. She sprang into a handstand, walking down through the tunnel and almost dancing from hand to hand, humming to herself. Little Taji hovered at the entrance, emitting low whining hums as it fluttered indecisively side-to-side. It's little bunny ears drooped.

"You can stay there by yourself if ya want, but imma keep goin!" Amaya warned the little pet, arching backwards until her feet were flat on the ground before lifting herself upright. The puff-ball zoomed after her as she disappeared into the caverns, her Zanpakutou once again loosely in her hand, the tip carelessly dragging the ground behind her as she skipped down the darkening tunnel.

Just about the time she'd come into the cavern would be as the group was responding to Zyrok's question. Now, it wasn't her intent to arrive unnoticed (she'd actually be put-out if she wasn't noticed) so she just skipped her way right over to flop down crosslegged next to Zyrok, peering critically at the huge group of her brethren while Taji flopped over her shoulder, its little bunny ears flicking back and forth like antennae.

"Oooh they look positively scrumptious. All the cups look just alike. The pot will be so happy happy! What sort of tea, Zyrok-chan?"

Such was her habit to refer to him in the familiar. And such was her habit to relate anything she might be thinking in her own metaphors: and those that knew her well enough could decipher that the cups referred to the arrancar, and the (tea)pot was their leader. As for the tea? Their purpose, of course.

Zyrok looked down at the woman and blinked. Immediately all of the freshly grown Arrancar drew their Zanpakutou in unison. His attention turned towards the group as he waved his red-skinned hand at them. They obeyed, knowing the order and sheathed their weapons. "All of you, go find proper clothing. Craxigle and Anub'Seran will be helping you to find new clothing." The 200 Arrancar single-file walked off to where they would be cleaned and dressed. This was good progress, so far.

"And what do I owe the pleasure, deary?" He asked, squating down and narrowing his eyes at the girl. It wasn't like he was mad or anything, just this was unexpected. That, and he wanted Tabris to be the first to witness this. There were signs of his frustration and discontent for the moment.

"Just so you know, I am expecting company soon. Though I am sure you will be delighted to know that it will be none other than Tabris. Shouldn't you be in Los Noches, doing who knows what with that thing you guys call The Espada?" It was fairly obvious Zyrok could have taken the first spot along time ago and then some, but he disliked numbers for a reason he couldnt remember too well. Something about being number Fifty Three in his living life and being mocked as such.

"And just so you know...my research is coming along quite well, as you can see. They are only a start, Amaya. Soon we will drive the machine of war to those hethens in Soul Society, and then Tabris can see fit to take back what should be his." He stood now, taking a seat in his stone chair now.

Tabris emerged at the other side of the garganta, within the cave. He could see Zyrock sitting in a stone chair, talking with some person. Arturo was lying at Tabris feet, after being thrown in by Svan.

"Hey, Zyrock! Look who we brought with." Tabris shouted as he walked towards him. "Who's your little friend here-?" Suddenly, Tabris stopped in mid-sentence as he saw the figure, white robes, and face of the 5th espada, Amaya.

"What is... Amaya doing here?" Tabris asked, with a strange look of his face. Once he said that, his fraccion seemed to become 1000x more aware of their surroundings. They also had looks on their face similar to Tabris.

"Tabris-sama... did you just say Amaya?" Setsuna Ri asked. Tabris nodded.

"Is her strange creature with her as well?" Nozu asked, sounding more depressed by Tabris's first answer. He nodded to this question as well.

"Shit"! Furyte shouted out suddenly, burying her face into Tabris's back.

[Clous / Svan / Derek]

Arturo stood up ready to fight, but he was a bit aghast at the site. "What the hell is this?"

Svan pushed Arturo aside and stepped through. "Ahh, get the hell out of my way. Your so useless." Svan's reaction was a bit like Tabris' but somewhat more energetic. What the hell is Amaya doing here?" van was looking at Zyrock and pointing at the 5th Espada.

Arturo was looking around at the 200 arrancar as they marched off. "It’s a friggin' army in here. What in the hell have you two been doing?"

"Ne, Zyrok-chan, the bumblebee has soo much honey! You must be happy," Amaya rolled to her feet, ignoring the little Hollow peeking around her shoulder. To translate, the bumblebee being Zyrock, and the honey, the army, and how happy he must be to have so many new friends.

She tilted her head sideways, with as serious an expression as her face can put together. "A bird don't need no reasons to jump into the ocean, does it? Just 'cause it loves to swim," she laughed, quickly sitting crosslegged on the ground near Zyrock's chair.

"More and more to come play, Zyrock-chan has no time for lil Amee anymore, do he? Me an' Taji-chan, all alone in the castle in the sky and no platypuses to play with, and Zyrock-chan just tells us, he says-"

Amaya might have rambled on, chattering for minutes on end; but she stopped midsentence as the others arrived, tilting her head back and back and back until her grey eye was staring upside-down and behind her at the newcomers with a wide and nearly ecstatic grin.

"Heyy Tabri-chan!" One could almost hear the care-free grin in her voice as she came up with a new nickname on the spot. Agilely she switched around so she was leaning against the side of Zyrock's stone chair, as little of a threat to whatever their plan was that obviously was not meant to include her, but a possible valuable asset. For as they were about to find out, it wasn't a very good idea to ask Amaya a question that one did not want an honest answer for. She turned her head to the side, her blue eye shining out from beneath the fall of black hair as her grey one stared directly at Arturo.

"Reproducin'," she said simply, with a grin: though in her mind it meant, the process of making more Arrancar, anyone else could take it as they saw fit. Taji-chan draped over her shoulder, making little murring noises as if in agreement as it flapped its small wings.

"Hello, Amaya." Tabris replied, a bit irritated at the nickname. He could have sworn that she had given him a different strange nickname a week before.

He moved over to Zyrock when Amaya was talking to Svan. "So, she knows about this?" Tabris whispered to Zyrock. "It's not a problem if she doesss but... I'd prefer it if 'she' wasn't too involved with ussss."

"Definitely." Furyte joined in, also whispering. "She's so... annoying."

At that moment Taabris and each of his fraccion seemed to remembver a painful moment in their pasts that seemed to involve Amaya. Each of their expressions were similar. Each or their eyes were narrowed, with their glances looking toward Amaya. One corner of their mouths were turned downward in a scowling frown. Zyrok let out a heavy sigh...His head hung low and he had a frown on his face. His hand went to pat Amaya on the head a few times."Yes yes, Svan's Fraccion. Amaya and I decided we needed to up our numbers drastically...so in the two days you were gone, we managed to pump two-hundred babies out of Amaya here. Though it was fun for me...not so sure about this one." He stood up now, looking down at Tabris."I hate to say it, Master...but Amaya here is my first, and original creation. You see...as I told you before, all of my Arrancar created in such a way "Little Amee" here was, they do not stay at the same level of strength. Over time they become stronger. Give them long enough and they could potentialy kill their creator."

"You see, Svan. I do not have control over everything that goes on. She just sort of showed up, and it is good to see how she is doing. Ever since I started this project up and the fact I was...you know, dying? I haven't had time to see much of her anymore. I would rather not have her leave, Tabris-sama. As this includes her, and the rest of the Espada in due time. For now, I recommend we keep this to just us." Zyrok spoke, walking over and pulling the switch on the vat. Again, the sound of pipes running liquid was heard and two more spaces filled with the strange goo.

"And in time, we shall see two new Arrancar. Hopefully no more drones like the Menos, as they are far less amusing than Anarak, Seran and Craxigle." At that seeming moment, a Garganta opened up as Craxigle walked threw. "Ah...speak of the devil."

Craxigle took a knee before Tabris and Zyrok."Masters, I have found out some vital information regarding...human status. We all know the two main groups that have plagued war on each other for quite some time. Their names, I think they black ones are the Acolytes, and the ones in white are referred to as The Order. Whilst out on an excursion to go find Shinigami and see how their status in the Real World were, I caught sight of the two human groups fighting. I followed the black ones to their base, I suppose we could call it." Craxigle finally stood up, looking at Tabris. An expression Craxigle had showed he wasn't too happy at all.

"I found...something strange. I think we have a problem on our hands. A single sub-basement room, filled with people just standing there. All muttering and whispering things I could not understand. Their Reiatsu was strange...like it was strangling me just by it's prescense. I quick counted atleast a thousand men and women in there and believe there are several more locations where they store the same number--if not more of these strange beings." Craxigle looked down to Amaya, which he promptly raised an eyebrow at.

Zyrok though for a moment and rubbed his chin. His eye then met with one of Tabris', whichone the Espada cared to meet him with anyway. It was that sudden look of realization and emotion he had that Tabris could also feel, too. He then nodded for Tabris to follow him and walked off down to the other side of the cavernous dwelling."Amaya, Craxigle, stay here. You too Svan."

"Well that's a fine way to increase the Hueco Mundo population isn't it?" Tabris said. "Yep, too much happens in short bursts. Just this morning, I apparently got engaged."

"I suppose if you are partial to your first creation, I cannot object." Tabris said, sounding resigned. "Just make sure that she will follow orders and wont talk around me too much."

Tabris listened to Craxigle's report. To be truthful, he didn't care much for the problems of humans, but he was interested in what Craxigle had seen. He liked to see unknown things. Afterward, he asked his fraccion to wait for him with Svan and the others, and, shaking of Furyte who was still holding on vigorously, he followed Zyrock.

"What's wrong Zyrock? Do you know about the beings Craxigle was talking about?" He asked once they were alone.

[Clous / Svan / Derek]

Svan was messing around with Arturo. Randomly kicking and punching him. In truth Svan treated Arturo like a little brother for the most part. Well save for when he snaps, the end result of that had been the gruesome deaths of his last four fraccion. "Eh, hell I dint care. Just dint stay gone for too long." Svan then looked up to Tabris. "After all, your my entertainment. I dint know what I'd do if I lost you." Svan then turned his back and walked for a while looking at a few things. "Oh and in response to your question earlier. I just call it selective hearing. If I don't want to listen I'll just block you out."

[Phoenix Tempest]

Amaya looked away, glancing around the room in apparent ignorance of everything being said around her; though every word was subconsciously catalogued in the back of her mind for repetition later (she is much, much smarter and more aware than she seems or is even aware of). Her body swayed back and forth as she hummed softly to herself, rolling her little pet around in her hands as the white puff-ball murred. Amaya glanced up with a contented smile as Zyrock patted her head, but her expression became perplexed as her gaze turned away. She picked up Taji, bringing it up to eye-level.

"Is Zyrock-chan really hating to say it?" she muttered with a frown. If there was one person in the world she would say she was more loyal to than higher-ranking Espada and their leader, it was Zyrock. One would safely say she'd do anything he asked of her. Her head turned sharply as she heard her name.

"Hai!" she affirmed, and stretched out on her back on the floor, tossing Taji-chan up in the air and watching it flutter around in circles over her head. Staring around, she saw her (much) younger sibling who had also been instructed to stay.

"Ne, Crazi-tan, you look soooo grumpy," she laughed, but meaning it good-naturedly.

"Unfortunately I know not much more than basic information. I know they are against everyone and are a strange set of humans. Though this is not why I asked for your privacy," Zyrok straightened out and closed his eye for a moment."You see, that drink I gave to Clous was merely a hyperactive pain killer, so to speak. There is nothing I can do for him, and I give him a week before he dies outright from that disease the Shinigami Captain gave to him. Though, there is one person I know who can do something. I know who you were imaging fighting...as I have said before, I can see as you do. Think as you do, and you can do the same for me at but a mere thought." And as the question thought up in Tabris' head, 'Who might that be?' Zyrok responded immediately.

"Captain of the Fourth Squad, Shimihaso, Vespera. She is extremely skilled in her medicinal abilities, and could easily cure him in due time. I propose a few methods to her capture. The first, being a nice way. The second, a not so glamorous way. I also propose I am the one to do it, seeing as how I have been in here for a long time. By the time I am back, there should be two new Arrancar ready. If we are to bring the fall of Soul Society, we must do it in en masse. A very wise tactician always knows to attack an enemy in their home turf three to one. Allow me to go to the human world and extract the person necessary to keep Svan alive. Perhaps, maybe I will be given the chance to show my true form. Though not many Shinigami are subjected to being alive afterwards."

"I see." Tabris replied. "If that is what must be done to keep Svan alive, then you have my permission to fetch this Vespera girl. I can't have him dying on me yet."

"I have one requessst. Please try to do it discretely. If you do kidnap her in front of a lot of people, try to make an effort to tell them that they should not come after you. Tell them that we'll bring her back once we're done. After all, I don't want to attack the Seireitei without anyone there."

Tabris nodded and gave a smile. An honest to God smile. Not the smile he would make after slaughtering abunch of people, but one of pure happiness. "Ah yes. I will do it just so, Master Tabris. Should I give them a cryptic warning, or should I just let them be dumbfounded? Though, I am a man of my word. The woman will not be harmed if she is compliant. After all...we cannot have the Third Espada dying on us as our hour of glory arises."

"Though, it would be full of irony that we show up, marching threw Rukongai and to the Sereitei, only to come to a ghost town. Later we find out that they invaded Hueco Mundo and Los Noches just as we left. If that were the case, I think we should leave a note." He spoke, tapping the air and making a Garganta."Tell the others to sit tight. I will return shortly."

"Make it cryptic and dumbfounding." Tabris responded, unable to make up his mind. "Hurry back." He turned around and walked back to the group that was still waiting in the main section.

"You're a lucky guy Svan." Tabris said out of nowhere as he walked past. "Since I woke up not too long ago, I'm gonna go out for a bit and enjoy the air. You guys can sit tight here for a bit, I wouldn't expect Zyrock to be longer than 10 minutesss."

He walked out calmly to the entrance of the cave and sat on one of the bleach-white rocks, spreading himself lazily.
